Purpose Of Job 

Responsible for using his/her knowledge for company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for his/her employer by developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of their sales like invoices or client contracts.

Location: Addis Ababa

Duration: Temporary

Starting Date: Immediately after contract agreement concluded

Duties and Responsibilities

Needs to have excellent verbal communication that enables him/her to connect with consumers and persuade them to purchase company products or services. 

  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals. 
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  •  Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations. 
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports. Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients. 
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs. 
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  •  Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders. 
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. 
  • Maintaining client records and follow up with customers to continue relationships.
Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing, economics, Banking and Finance or related study Preferably a 2020, 2021 or 2022 graduate

Work Experience: Zero (0) years of experience 

  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. 
  • A commitment to excellent customer service. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. 
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook is an asset Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment. 
  • Required age to be great or equal to 25 years Required CGPA needs to be 2.75 or above.

Vacancy Announcement – ZAGWE Electro-Mechanical Engineering



ZAGWE Electro-Mechanical Engineering would like to invite competent and interested candidates for the following position. 

Position: Logistics and Supply Chain Officer 

Scope/Job Purpose: The Logistics & Supply Chain Officer, works closely with the HR & Admin manager, ensures proper operation of vehicles, proper warehouse and inventory management, effective and timely procurement of materials and services of the company within the authorization framework. He/ She will be responsible for timely preparation and daily reporting of warehouse activities, vehicles movement and other supply chain activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Procurement of materials and service (20%) 

  • Procures materials and services in compliance with ZEME procurement policy and procedure Ensures timely payment to suppliers. 
  • Ensures quality, quantity and timely delivery of procured materials Assesses price and availability of materials to enable local purchases.
  •  Assist project teams in completing PR for every purchase. 
  • Provides local materials and services price information to the decision making.. 
  • Make timely amendment of PR as necessary in consultation with the project manager and immediate supervisor. 
  • Handles PR tracking for all PRs that are sent to Finance for payments. 
  • Ensures the procurement of materials and services, and their documentations are in conformity with Zagwe procurement.
Warehouse Management (25%)

  • Ensures proper receipt of materials and services in the store. 
  • Ensures proper release of materials from the warehouse. 
  • Ensures proper management of inventories in the warehouse. 
  • Ensures that all the materials in the warehouse have BIN cards and stock cards are well managed. 
  • Facilitates physical counts and spot checking. 
  • Makes sure that there is always sufficient space for materials storage in the warehouse. 
  • Ensures that materials released from warehouse are well documented and reached the end users. 
Vehicle Management (15%

  • Ensures the daily vehicle check-list is carried out as per ZAGWE policy and procedure. 
  • Ensures that vehicles regular maintenance schedules are maintained. 
  • Monitors vehicle utilization efficiencies. Monitors vehicle fuel utilization efficiency.
  • Handles vehicle allocation to project activities and maintains the swap system. 
  • Ensures Zagwe policy in vehicle movement including time of movement, parking, and cleaning of vehicles. 
  • Maintains sufficient availability of log sheets and proper recording of information.
Asset and Office equipment management (20%)

  • Ensures proper recording and labeling of assets. 
  • Ensures proper utilization of assets at projects. 
  • Ensures proper completion of equipment issue before release of equipment from the warehouse. 
  • Handles maintenance of office equipment and office machines. 
  • Ensures proper handling over assets and equipment’s by the staff at point of departure. 
  • Ensures proper transfer and recording of equipment and office machines/computers and others/, furniture etc from one person to the other.
Reporting (15%)

  • Prepares and submit regular reports to HR & Admin Manager.
  • Prepares bi weekly recent warehouse and asset reports and disseminate to respective persons for action. 
  • Prepares and submits monthly warehouse and asset reports to HR & Admin Manager as per the mandatory reporting schedules.
Others (5%)

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. 
  • Cooperates with all Project teams and works closely with HR & Admin Manager in executing supply chain activities at all level.
Job Requirement:

  • Education: Diploma/ First Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Accounting, and related business field. 
  • Year of Experience: 1 years of relevant work experience for Degree, or fast learner Fresh graduates are preferred. 
  • Language: spoken and written in English and Amharic is required. 
  • Skills Required: Operating excel, word, Internet and additional Computer skill is required. 
  • Willing to work under stress environment and should perform tasks independently.

  • She/he closely works with all projects and support staff so that to effectively and efficiently realize overall organizational mission.
